Jump
Safe | Play Safe with Jump for Fun:
The Summer is here and
the popularity of garden trampolines
in the UK for 2007 is still as high as
ever and with this brings the potential
for more accidents. Jump for Fun are
commited to increasing awareness on the
safe use of your trampoline. Jump for
Fun are clear on the correct usage of
trampolines in the garden and each one
of our products comes pre-packed with
a guide for installation and safety.
Advantages: Using
a round garden trampoline can be fun, and help
with balance and spacial awareness, you can also
benefit from the health aspects of a cardiovascular
work out as part of a keep fit program.
Round
Trampolines: The
design of a round trampoline is
such that when a user jumps up
and down, they are sent back into
the centre of the jump surface,
the problem with this occurs when
more than one jumper is on the
trampoline, this is how a majority
of trampoline accidents occur because
all the users maybe sent back into
the middle at the same time, increase
the chances of a collision, a smaller
child with less body weight is
at the highest risk in this situation. Jump
for Fun only recommend ONE jumper
at a time.
Safety
Nets: Jump for
Fun offer a discount when you purchase
a safety net with a trampoline.
Whilst the safety net will add
peace of mind to you as a parent,
it is still NOT a guarantee that
your child is 100% secure. Whilst
Jump for Fun's products are made
of high grade materials we recomment
that your child should be supervised
at all times when using their trampoline
for obvious safety reason's and
especially if you have not purchased
a safety net, supervision will
also reduce the chances of miss
use.
Tricks
and somersaults: A
garden trampoline is designed with
fun and exercise in mind and is
not for professional use, if your
child want's to learn more about
trampoline skills, we fully recommend
that you enlist them into a local
gymnastics club where they are
supervised by a professional who
can educate and teach the skill
set necessary to accomplish complex
manouvers on a professional trampoline
ONLY.
